Cheap as Chips Websites
Terms and conditions
General
These terms apply to website design and related services supplied by Cheap as Chips Websites, the trading name of Kieran Lewis. By going ahead with a project, you agree to these terms.
Quotes and package pricing
- Public prices shown on the site are guide ranges tied to specific scope caps.
- A proper quote is confirmed before work starts.
- Launch is for 1 page, Standard for 2 to 4 pages, and Growth for 5 to 8 pages unless agreed otherwise in writing.
- Add-ons and extra work are priced separately where the job goes beyond the agreed package.
Deposits and payment
- A 50% deposit is required before work starts unless agreed otherwise in writing.
- The remaining balance is due before final handover or launch.
- If payment is seriously delayed, work may be paused until the balance is brought up to date.
What the packages include
- Each package includes the page count, revision rounds, and turnaround style described on the website or quote.
- Launch includes 1 revision round. Standard and Growth include 2 revision rounds.
- Monthly care covers small content updates only and does not include redesigns, rebuilds, or new features.
- Turnaround estimates begin once the deposit and the core content needed to work are both in.
What counts as extra work
- Extra pages, major copywriting, new features, booking systems, ecommerce, large structural changes, and changes in direction may all count as extra work.
- If extra work is needed, it will be quoted before it is added.
Client responsibilities
- You are responsible for supplying accurate business information, approvals, and any content or assets that need to be provided by you.
- You must have the right to use any logos, images, text, or other materials you supply.
- Delays in sending content, feedback, or approvals may delay the project.
Pauses and abandonment
- If there is no reply for 14 days, the project may be paused.
- If there is still no reply after 30 days, the project may need rebooking or a fresh quote depending on schedule and scope.
Hosting, domains, and third parties
- Hosting and domain costs are separate unless clearly included in writing.
- Third-party services such as hosting providers, registrars, email providers, or Google tools remain subject to their own terms and availability.
- Help can be provided with setup, but third-party outages, account issues, and price changes are outside direct control.
Search visibility and results
Sensible setup can be provided for things like structure, Google basics, and analytics, but nobody honest can guarantee rankings, leads, or business results.
Ownership
Once the final balance is paid, you can use the finished website content and assets created for your project for your business. Third-party fonts, tools, plugins, or licensed assets remain subject to their own licences.
Tools and working methods
Trusted software, automation, and AI-assisted workflows may be used internally where helpful to speed up delivery, tidy content, or support production work. That does not change the responsibility to review the final output and deliver sensible, honest work.
Liability
Reasonable care and skill will be used in providing the service. However, liability is excluded for indirect losses, lost profits, third-party platform issues, or problems caused by information, access, or materials provided by the client.
