General

These terms apply to website design and related services supplied by Cheap as Chips Websites / Kieran Lewis. By going ahead with a project, you agree to these terms.

Quotes and pricing

  • Prices shown on the site are guide prices and may vary depending on scope.
  • A proper quote will be confirmed before work starts.
  • Extra work outside the agreed scope may be quoted separately.

Deposits and payment

  • A 50% deposit is required before work starts, unless agreed otherwise in writing.
  • The remaining balance is due before final handover or launch.
  • If payment is seriously delayed, work may be paused. Nobody enjoys that, so best not.

Client responsibilities

  • You are responsible for providing accurate business information and approvals.
  • You must have the right to use any logos, images, text, or other materials you supply.
  • Delays in sending content, approvals, or feedback may delay the project timeline.

Revisions and scope

  • Reasonable tweaks within the agreed package are included.
  • Bigger changes, added pages, or changes in direction may count as extra work and be quoted separately.

Hosting, domains, and third parties

  • Hosting and domain costs are separate unless clearly included in writing.
  • If third-party services are used, such as hosting providers, domain registrars, or Google tools, their own terms also apply.
  • We can help set things up, but third-party outages, account issues, or price changes are outside our control.

Google and search visibility

We can help with setup for things like search visibility, analytics, and Google business basics, but no honest person can guarantee rankings, leads, or world domination on Google.

Ownership

Once the final balance is paid, you can use the finished website content and assets created for your project for your business. Any third-party fonts, plugins, images, or licensed tools remain subject to their own licences.

Liability

We will take reasonable care and skill in providing the service. However, we are not liable for indirect losses, lost profits, third-party platform issues, or problems caused by information, content, or access provided by the client.
